Inspired by a visit to Akaroa on a sailboat tour, I created an Oamaru stone sculpture of a Hector's dolphin. I carefully crafted this sculpture with soft flowing lines depicting fluid tidal movement. I also added some small round pieces of paua shell encased in a clear epoxy resin to give a watery effect. This sculpture would make an excellent gift for an interior setting.
