PRODUCT DETAILS
Original Oamaru stone sculpture by New Zealand artist Shaugn David Briggs.
Inspired by a sailboat tour in Akaroa, this sculpture celebrates New Zealand's beloved Hector's dolphin — the world's smallest and rarest dolphin species, found only in our waters. The piece captures the graceful, fluid movement of these playful creatures as they glide through coastal tides.
Crafted with soft, flowing lines that evoke the dolphin's natural elegance, this sculpture features a unique artistic detail: small pieces of paua shell encased in clear epoxy resin, creating a shimmering watery effect that brings the piece to life.
At 31cm tall and perfectly sized for display, "Hector's Dolphin" makes a meaningful gift or a treasured addition to any interior setting. It's a celebration of New Zealand's natural heritage and coastal beauty.
