Stone Carving Workshops
All of the stone carving courses below come with everything provided including benches, tools, eye protection and all of the stone. All you need to do is book and I can come to you.
Prices for the workshops vary depending on a number of factors taken into account. It depends on how many people are attending, the size of stone blocks and the type of workshop. For example, a corporate workshop is very different to a children's birthday party.
Children's Workshops
Whether it is a birthday celebration or a large event. I can put together a fun and creative workshop that children will love.
Corporate Events
Described as "team building the Kiwi way." Corporate stone carving courses have become a very popular choice for a work or training event. The workshop is usually set up to host about ten people and runs for a two hour period. Participants are shown techniques through the process and they are amazed at what they can achieve within the time frame allocated.
Private Workshops (One or two people)
Private workshops are for people that want to treat themselves to a relaxed and enjoyable carving experience. This type of workshop is often booked by tourist that are in town for a day or two or someone local that just wants to treat themselves or a family member to a relaxed carving experience just with the tutor.

Working With Schools
If you are thinking of a stone sculpting project that can involve young children, then it doesn't come any better than organising a group of children to create a large stone sculpture collectively over a period of time.
Large Events
In a large festival (approximately 4 hours) up to 160 people can have an opportunity to have a go at stone carving as a quick introduction. The workshops come with everything provided, benches, stone, and all tools needed. The workshops are great for community groups, holiday events, school events, and clubs.
Night School Classes
Night classes are run in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere through Continuing Education Adult Learning. There are usually separate beginners and advanced classes. These sculpture classes are very enjoyable and enable you to really learn all the skills needed for you to create your own special work of art as you go from project to project.
