Rapaki Jetty / Size, 100cm x 80cm / Medium, Acrylic / Sold
Rapaki is a small Maori settlement in Banks peninsula just over the Port Hills from the city of Christchurch. The jetty was built to honour the local men who fought and died at Gallipoli in WW1. This painting was brought by the late well known New Zealand children's author Margaret Mahy at a charity art auction.
